Das Zündapp Z110 E-Klapprad vereint in sich die Vorteile eines herkömmlichen Faltrads mit einem Elektroantrieb und wird so zum flexiblen, umweltbewussten Fortbewegungsmittel innerhalb von Städten. Es eignet sich zum Pendeln zur Arbeit genauso wie für Einkaufsfahrten und verbindet alltagstauglich Sportlichkeit mit Zweckmäßigkeit. Auch im Urlaub ist das Z110 ein zuverlässiger Begleiter, der sich platzsparend überall mit hin nehmen lässt.
Mittels Klappmechanismen im Rahmen, den Pedalen und dem Vorbau kann das Fahrrad schnell zusammengefaltet und im Auto oder in öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln mitgenommen werden. Durch ein Faltmaß von 97 cm x 67 cm x 44 cm findet das Rad nahezu überall Platz. Möglich wird dies durch die nur 20 Zoll großen Räder und den niedrigen Rahmen. Trotzdem lässt sich das Fahrrad durch höhenverstellbaren Sattel und Lenker auch problemlos an die Bedürfnisse größerer Fahrer anpassen.
Der Rahmen besteht aus extra leichtem Aluminium, um Gewicht einzusparen. Trotz E-Antrieb wiegt das Bike inklusive Akku lediglich 21,1 kg, sodass es möglich ist, das Fahrrad in die Bahn oder das Auto zu tragen. Dennoch ist das Zündapp Z110 genauso robust und belastbar wie ein herkömmliches Bike.
Der Antrieb besteht aus einem bürstenlosen Radnabenmotor am Hinterrad, der mit 250 Watt Leistung das Fahrrad bis auf flotte 25 km/h beschleunigt. Er erhält seine Energie von einem Lithium-Ionen-Akku, der im Rahmen untergebracht ist und zum Zweck des Diebstahlschutzes abgeschlossen werden kann. Die Reichweite beträgt je nach Fahrweise und gewähltem Unterstützungslevel 35 bis 65 km. Das Bedienelement King Meter ist mit drei Knöpfen intuitiv zu bedienen und besitzt eine LED-Anzeige, die sich dank Helligkeitssensor an das Umgebungslicht anpasst und so bei allen Lichtverhältnissen optimal ablesbar ist.
Das Fahrrad besitzt eine ergonomische Geometrie, die für optimalen Fahrkomfort sorgt. Die gefederte Sattelstütze trägt ihren Teil dazu bei, auch der bequeme City-Komfortsattel lässt den Fahrer gemütlich Platz nehmen. Neben dem E-Antrieb steht auch eine Shimano-Kettenschaltung mit 7 Gängen zur Verfügung, die sich geschmeidig per RevoShift Drehgriffschalter schalten lassen. Wartungsarme V-Brakes am Vorder- sowie Hinterrad greifen zuverlässig.
Nicht zuletzt besitzt das Zündapp Z110 eine vollwertige Ausstattung. Am wichtigsten dabei ist die StVZO-konforme Beleuchtung, die ihre Power durch den Akku erhält. Die Spanninga-Leuchten besitzen je einen integrierten Reflektor. Hinzu kommen Schutzbleche, Seitenständer sowie ein Gepäckträger. Auch die Klingel darf nicht fehlen, sodass es direkt losgehen kann.
Das Zündapp Z110 kommt bereits vollständig montiert an. Nach dem Ausklappen und einer kurzen Kontrolle kann es also ohne aufwändige Endmontage direkt losgehen!
Die Nürnberger Traditionsmarke Zündapp, gegründet 1917, machte vor allem durch die Produktion von erschwinglichen Leichtkrafträdern “für jedermann” auf sich aufmerksam, die sich besonders durch ihre Zuverlässigkeit und die für damalige Verhältnisse hochmoderne Technik auszeichneten. Heute werden unter dem Namen Zündapp Fahrräder und - in Anlehnung an die Motorradherstellung - natürlich moderne E-Bikes wie das Z110 produziert, das in seinem Design an die Z22, das erste Erfolgsmodell, erinnert. Alle Räder unter der Flagge Zündapp - ob E-Bike, Klapprad oder Mountainbike - sie alle entsprechen den traditionellen Standards kombiniert mit moderner Technik.
